Hot off the heels of their new album, Fallen Empires, Snow Patrol heated up the Santa Barbara Bowl on Saturday night.

The Irish-Scottish five-piece band is made up of singer Gary Lightbody, guitarist Nathan Connolly, bassist Paul Wilson, drummer Jonny Quinn and keyboardist Tom Simpson.

Over several months, the group began a musical road trip around California, with special appearances by R.E.M.‘s Michael Stipe, U.S. singer Lissie and Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen.

Saturday night’s concert was promoted by Nederlander Concerts.
