Alix de Gramont of Santa Barbara, a member of the class of spring 2015 at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., has received Faculty Honors for the 2013 fall semester.
To earn Faculty Honors, a student must achieve a semester grade point average of at least a 3.667 with no individual letter grade below B-minus.
Founded in Hartford in 1823, Trinity College is an independent, nonsectarian liberal arts college with more than 2,200 students from 45 states and 47 countries. It is home to the eighth-oldest chapter of Phi Beta Kappa in the United States.
The faculty and alumni include recipients of the Pulitzer Prize, the MacArthur award, Guggenheims, Rockefellers and other national academic awards.
