Five Santa Barbara Residents Graduate from Cal Lutheran University

The following Santa Barbara residents earned graduate degrees from California Lutheran University in May.

» Rachel Chavez graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.

» Jaime Rutiaga received a master of business administration degree in management and organizational behavior.

» Lindsay Buchanan received a master of science degree in counseling and guidance.

» Trevor Hess received a master of science degree in counseling and guidance.

» Jolie Bernal received a master of science degree in counseling and guidance.

CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks with centers in Oxnard, Woodland Hills and Santa Maria for graduate courses and its Adult Degree Evening Program. With an enrollment of 4,200 students, CLU offers undergraduate and graduate programs within the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Management and Graduate School of Education. Doctoral degrees in educational leadership, higher education leadership and clinical psychology are also offered.

Members of the CLU student body come from across the nation and around the world and represent a diversity of faiths and cultures.
