On Sept. 11, 2001, my life changed. I woke up. I had been sleepwalking through life, taking my country for granted. Then 9/11 happened. I watched in horror as the twin towers in New York City were destroyed by Islamic terrorists in hijacked planes. I felt sick, confused and angry. Who would attack America, and why?

After the 9/11 disasters, I decided to read about terrorism, Islam and the Quran. Fellow Americans, you must do the same. I have learned that Islam is not like other religions, but more like a “religious cult.”

Terror expert Robert Spencer explains that the Quran tells its followers that Islam is the only true religion, OKs the killing of nonbelievers and that the Sharia Law should be spread throughout the world. The Quran also talks about the principle of deception (Taqiyya) for global conquest by Islam. Taqiyya is being applied today in NYC as it tries to build a victory mosque on ground zero.

Everything about this project is provocative, questionable and secretive. Why this location, who is paying for it and what is the background of the Imam and the real estate developer?

As one who was changed by 9/11 and recalls it clearly, I am alarmed and angered over the building of this victory mosque on ground zero. Furthermore, I am enraged by a corrupt and gutless media, and clueless and uninformed politicians, especially Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

America, do not forget 9/11. Learn more about Islam, and vote out corrupt politicians in November.

Yes, let’s remember 9/11.  That’s the day in 2001 that 19 terrorists, using small knives and boxcutters they bought for less than $20 brought down 4 airliners and a large complex of skyscrapers, killing almost 3,000 people in the process.

The people who did the deed died in the process.  Those sending them were a small group of Islamic fundamentalists, sheltering mainly on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.  Had the US and its allies gone after them immediately with police and special-ops forces, they could have been rounded up in a few months at little cost to anyone.  No war, no invasions, and most likely a greater stabvility for the entire middle-east region.

Instead, under Bush, we launched a major war and invasion of a country who had nothing to do with the initial attack, while sheltering the family of Bin Laden, with whom the Bush family had close business ties.  The result: a bill from the “War On Terror” that everyone agrees now exceeds one trillion dollars, thousands of Americans dead, at least two hundred thousdand Iraqis dead, more than a million displaced, and pure chaos in the “government” left behind by the retreating American forces.

Yes, 9/11 marked the begining of the end of the American Imperial era.  We have used up our resources, we have used up our soldiers, we have enriched the few that brought about this action, while the rest of us are broke.

So yes, do remember 9/11!

You know, I’ve always wondered why “President” Bush never once publicly demanded answers from the House of Saud, the royal family of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Did it really never occur to him to ask about why citizens under Saudi rule attacked the U.S.? Didn’t the America citizenry deserve to know if 9-11 was a formal act of war by Saudi Arabia? What explanation did King Abdullah ibn Abdul Aziz, the current head of the Al Saud and ruler of Saudi Arabia have for this barbaric act of terrorism? Wouldn’t it be only natural to want to know the answers to these questions? Certainly both George W. Bush and his father know King Aziz well as they have had numerous business and diplomatic meetings with the King and other family members for many years. In fact Mr. Bush has hosted the King at the White House and his Crawford ranch AFTER 9-11 (http://www.life.com/image/52693881).
Or, would it be more convenient for the Bush family, Dick Cheney, Condeleza Rice and other senior Bush administration officials and Republicans heavily involved in the oil industry to simply blame “Islamo-fascists” and Muslims in general rather than shine a light on their intimate connections to the nation that attacked us on our own soil? Funny how easy it is to fool the American public by distracting their attention from inconvenient facts to bright, shiny objects meant to obscure reality!
