Love the fact that McLaughlin referred to Carlos Santana as “another old hippy!” I guess their album Love Devotion Surrender was the beginning of a lifelong friendship.

Now that was a cool review! Jeff, you must be a musician and I truly appreciate what your experienced eyes & ears allowed you to bring forth without the ego that so many music reviewers display, as if it’s required or something. I couldn’t go to the concert but your review gave me a taste of it and for that I thank you.
