Job Description:
DIGITAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Santa Barbara startup company with an exciting concept seeks an experienced, hunter-type sales professional to develop advertising and business opportunities. We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, able to work independently and a strong team player.
General
» Outside sales experience required, Internet ad sales preferred
» Full sales cycle experience (prospecting through account maintenance)
» Consultative sales experience
» Proposal writing experience
» Advertising Agency background / experience a plus
» Must be fluent/have experience in identifying and establishing prospects
» Must be comfortable setting up client meetings, lunches and after-work events
» Must have proficiency and experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans
» Must have ability and flexibility to review own progress and adapt to changing market objectives
» Must have excellent communication skills, including being articulate in all environments
» Must be a problem solver and able to translate customer needs into solutions
» Must have a professional demeanor, be a team player and possess personal/professional integrity
» Must have understanding of Web design applications such as HTML, basic computerized graphics programs and technology in general
» Competitive commission
Daily
1. Schedule and complete client presentations
2. Develop client solutions and proposals
3. Manage customer / client relationships through full sales cycle (prospecting through account maintenance)
Revenue
1. Achieve individual revenue goals
2. Follow pricing policies to maximize revenue
3. Work with all available sources to identify potential customers and future opportunities
4. Manage and develop solutions that optimize customer satisfaction
5. Develop and maintain relations with the largest clients and prospects
