Riverside’s Late Goals Sink SBCC Men
The Vaqueros had several scoring chances but lose 2-0 in first soccer loss.
Riverside scored in the 81st and 87th minutes Friday night at La Playa Stadium to hand the Santa Barbara City College men’s soccer team its first loss.
“We had a lot of chances, we just couldn’t finish,” SBCC coach John Sisterson said. “We defended sloppily twice and they hit the back of the net.”
The Vaqueros host Cypress at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
