A Shining Moment for the Mental Health Association
The Mental Health Association in Santa Barbara presented its inaugural Heroes of Hope Awards event Saturday at The Granada Theatre. The event included a special screening of the film Canvas. Among the attendees were, from left, Canvas actor Devon Gearhart, Canvas star/producer Joe Pantoliano, actor Dennis Franz and his wife, Joanie, Canvas writer/director Joseph Greco and Annmarie Cameron, executive director of the Mental Health Association in Santa Barbara. Americans need to take care of their own family members as they did in years past. Stop dunmping them on taxpayers because they don’t care about them . Americans could cut mental health services by 50% if people would take care of their own family members- and get more involved.
