The Mental Health Association in Santa Barbara presented its inaugural Heroes of Hope Awards event Saturday at The Granada Theatre. The event included a special screening of the film Canvas. Among the attendees were, from left, Canvas actor Devon Gearhart, Canvas star/producer Joe Pantoliano, actor Dennis Franz and his wife, Joanie, Canvas writer/director Joseph Greco and Annmarie Cameron, executive director of the Mental Health Association in Santa Barbara.
