nice column Yarby. the Blount debacle was absolutely sickening and clearly Blount does not deserve to play college football. my kudos to the Ducks for their fast, determined action. your mention of coach kerrigan brought back memories of our wednesday workouts at santa barbara jr. high. greetings to my good friend Sam Dumas.stop in at my favorite coffee shop in santa barbara, Vices and Spices, when you come out again Sam. congrats Yarby on the the coaching position. I know you’ll do well!

What a nice surprise when going thrugh the Nooshawk to see a familiar name—and then a familiar face—looking great despite a few more years on it.
How long have you been doing the column for Billy? Many days I just get to scan the front page quickly and boy am I glad I stopped and read on today.
I assume that you’re doing the coaching job in addition to the Register Guard. Tell me you aren’t the latest casualty of the demise of print media.
Drop me a line and catch up when you get a chance, it’s a long spell between Sue’s super holiday letters.
