Tar Creek

Tar Creek is a hiking area in Ventura County near Fillmore. It’s full of pools, canyons, waterfalls and water slides — a bit like the Seven Falls area in Santa Barbara’s Mission Canyon but on a much larger scale. It is reasonably accessible for most hikers, but there are challenges climbing on the rocks.
