Just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, a motorist traveling northbound on East Montecito Street drove a little wide on the curve and plowed into the Sycamore Creek bridge railing just before the Five Points Roundabout on the Lower Eastside. There were no injuries and the driver, the car’s only occupant, got out on his own. His sedan wasn’t so fortunate, with its passenger side hanging off the bridge.
