The Santa Barbara City College women’s volleyball team couldn’t get the job done at the end of games on Tuesday night and was swept by Canyons 25-22, 25-21, 25-19 in a nonconference match.
“We played well, just too many unforced errors down the stretch,” Vaquero coach Ed Gover said.
Sam Potter led SBCC (1-7) with 12 kills, while Angelica Smith and Tara Ahern each contributed three blocks.
The Vaqueros will be at home Friday and Saturday night against Bakersfield and Cuyamaca. Both matches start at 6 p.m.
