Lompoc Parks and Recreation has announced the results of its annual skateboard competition, which drew 28 participants to Lompoc Skate Park on Aug. 19.
This event was open to skaters ages 7 and older, and was co-sponsored by Surf Connection.

“This is probably one of the more memorable ones we’ve had, and I’ve been to all 22 of them,” said Robbie Hargreaves, professional skateboarder and emcee for the event.
Lompoc Foursquare Church provided refreshments.
