Three people were wounded late Saturday night in a shooting incident at an apartment complex in Lompoc, according to the Lompoc Police Department.
At about 10:45 p.m., police dispatchers received several 9-1-1 calls regarding shots fired on the 400 block of West North Street, said Cpl. Brian Guerra.
“Another caller reported there were two gunshot victims located at an apartment in the complex,” Guerra said.
Officers found two male victims — ages 14 and 18 — inside an apartment, and provided medical aid until Lompoc firefighters and paramedics arrived on scene, Guerra said.
Both were transported to area hospitals.
The shootings occurred in the apartment complex’s parking lot, he added.
At about 1:25 a.m. Sunday, a third gunshot victim — a 14-year-old boy — arrived at the emergency room at Lompoc Valley Medical Center, Guerra said.
The names and conditions of those who were wounded were not released.
Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to contact the Lompoc Police Department at 805.736.2341.
