Alfredo Orozco, of Santa Barbara, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021 surrounded by family at the age of 81.

Alfredo was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and moved to Santa Barbara in 1960 at the age of 20. He met the love of his life, Maria, and together raised three sons.

Alfredo is survived by his wife of 54 years Maria; sons Alfredo and Eddie; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Sergio (Checho).

Alfredo was devoted to family and a caring friend. He will be lovingly remembered for his bright smile and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 6 at Welch Ryce-Haider Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 7 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
