Shane Bieber, former UC Santa Barbara Gaucho and current Cleveland Indians All-Star pitcher, brought holiday joy to children at Cottage Children’s Medical Center when he visited earlier this month.
Bieber, who lives in Goleta during the offseason, posed for countless pictures and shared secrets about his lethal curveball — all with one thing in mind.
“To be able to hopefully take their minds off what they’re going through just a little bit is really the goal,” he said.
