Dos Pueblos Distance Runners Dominate in Relay

Dos Pueblos showed its strength in distance running at the Ventura Invitational as the Chargers boys 4x1600-meter relay team lapped several competitors en route to an impressive victory.

The team of Nathan Alvarez, Joshua Mcgregor, Jeremiah McElwee and Hunter Clark ran 18:39.95, just missing the qualifying mark for the prestigious Arcadia Invitational.

Carmen Villarruel cleared 9-3 to finish third in the girls pole vault and Kevin Nguyen went 40-7.5 in the boys triple jump to take third place
