Laguna Blanca Readies for Postseason Play

Track, golf and volleyball put Owls in hunt for CIF championships.

Laguna Blanca has a busy playoff schedule this weekend.

In track and field, junior Kevin Lunn and freshman Parker Lilly will compete in the CIF preliminary meet Saturday at Carpinteria High. Lunn and Lilly finished first and second, respectively, in the Condor League 1600-meters championship. Lunn earned the league’s MVP award.

In golf, sophomore Niall Platt and senior Colin Mattingly qualified for the Individual Regional tournament that begins Monday at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo.

In volleyball, the fourth-seeded Owls host St. Genevieve of Panorama City on Friday.
