“I barely touched it,” retorted the 22-year-old male detained for groping the hindquarters of a passing female during the Halloween festivities in Isla Vista.

A deputy patrolling the party scene, who witnessed uncouth and illegal act, asked the female if the male had permission to touch her.

Stating she did not know her aggressor dressed in the gold and black costume, the man was taken into custody for battery before midnight.
