Brody Luke scored four of Dos Pueblos’ six goals and added two field blocks to lead the Chargers to a 6-4 home win against La Serna on Saturday.

Dos Pueblos goalie Aiden Trager helped keep he Lancers at bay with nine saves.

The Chargers rallied back from a 3-1 first quarter deficit with three unanswered goal in the second quarter and another in the third to take a 5-3 into the final frame.

“We got off to a slow start in the first quarter,” Dos Pueblos coach Bryan Snyder said. “We had a couple defensive breakdowns that lead to three goals for them.

“After that, we really clamped down defensively and shut them out for the next two quarters. Overall our defense was great and we really did a great job of translating what we worked on in practice into the game and it showed today. Really proud of the boys for this effort.”

Dos Pueblos improves to 3-11 overall.
