The Bishop Diego boys golf team got some reinforcements from the unbeaten football squad, and they helped the Cardinals beat Santa Clara, 227-308, in match at Santa Barbara Golf Club on Wednesday.
Buddy Melgoza earned medalist honors in his debut, shooting a 3-over par 38 over nine holes. Kaio Forte-Tuttle, also from the football team, was second with a 40 and Cameron Medina shot a 42.
