Día de los Muertos Market and Craft Day

Join us for our third annual Día de los Muertos Market and Craft Day, in collaboration with the Mujeres Makers Market at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park!
Día de los Muertos is a celebration rooted in Indigenous and Latinx traditions and cultures, and honors and celebrates those who have perished before us. To add to the fun of this free, magical celebration, there will be over 70 vendors, face painters, art workshops, a DJ, dance performances, a Catrina contest, a Lotería game, a photo booth, free arts & crafts, and a community ofrenda (altar), where all are invited to view and/or pay their respects to their deceased ancestors by leaving a photo or memento.
The Mujeres Makers Market takes place from 10am – 4pm, and SBTHP will be providing free arts and crafts from 11am – 3pm in the Presidio Orchard.
