The Aux Ball: Celebrating the Eras is not only a celebration of the Regency Era’s opulence and charm but also a tribute to all the eras of the Music Academy – spanning more than 70 years, and supporting its mission to advance and develop the next generation of musical talent, and inspire global audiences.

Inspired by the playful pomp and allure of the Bridgerton phenomenon, The Aux Ball promises to be the talk of the town, offering a captivating journey back in time. Lehmann Hall, the heart of the Music Academy, will be transformed into a dazzling Regency Era extravaganza for one unforgettable evening.

Guests attending The Aux Ball will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the elegance of the Regency Era, and come in costumes that evoke the glamour of the period. While costumes are optional, envision corseted gowns, dashing tuxedos and tails, glittering tiaras, opulent jewelry, and intricate hairstyles that harken back to a time of refined sophistication. Signature libations alongside Regency-era inspired food table will be served. Live musical performances will provide a harmonious backdrop to the festivities, and guests will have the chance to waltz the night away on the dance floor. And of course guests will await the highly-anticipated “Dear Reader” letter!
