The Choral Society presents The Hallelujah Project

This holiday season, The Choral Society will be “decking the hall” of the Lobero Theatre for December 9th and 10th performances that truly appeal to all ages with a program with something for everyone. From a glorious setting of “The Magnificat” (J.S. Bach’s first major liturgical composition for the Christmas vespers in 1723 and its 300th anniversary) to familiar carols and Hanukkah songs, led by Artistic Director/Conductor JoAnne Wasserman, with the Choral Society orchestra. Children from the Music Academy SING! Program will melt the coldest of hearts, and even jolly Santa will make an appearance. Local attorney Justin Fox (aka lead singer of Dishwalla) will narrate “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas”, and JoAnne will have the audience standing for the traditional grand finale – a singalong of the “Hallelujah” chorus from Handel’s “Messiah”.
Tickets: $35 General Admission, $25 Senior 65+, $15 Child/Student w/ID, $75 VIP (includes post-concert reception)
