
UCSB-signee Alyssa Marin has already made herself at home in Santa Barbara.
The Camarillo guard knocked down three three-pointers in the first quarter to spark the Scorpions to a big lead in a 66-48 victory over Pennsylvania’s Cumberland Valley in a semifinal game of the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions on Friday at J.R. Richards Gym.
Camarillo will face Chaminade for the Gold Division championship on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Chaminade scratched out a 44-36 victory over Sacramento-Christian Brothers in the other semifinal game on Friday.

In the consolation bracket, Santa Barbara High was edged by Orange Lutheran, 43-41, while Rolling Hills Prep routed Brea Olinda, 82-43.
In games on Saturday, Santa Barbara plays Brea Olinda at 9 a.m. for seventh place; Rolling Hills Prep takes on Orange Lutheran for the consolation title at 1:30 p.m., and Christian Brothers meets Cumberland Valley for third place at 6 p.m.
Camarillo blitzed Cumberland Valley with six three-pointers in the first quarter, opened up a 26-4 lead and never looked back.
Marin scored 24 points and Gabriela Jaquez tossed in 20 for the 11-0 Scorpions.
Hannah Sauve scored 13 points to lead Cumberland Valley.
Jasmine Rodriguez scored 12 points and Julinna Fletes had 11 to lead Chaminade against a tough Christian Brothers squad.
Christian Brothers did a good containing Chaminade’s 6-foot-2 and Washington-bound Alexis Whitfield, holding her to six points.
Bria Shine scored 14 points and Sarah Jackson had 11 for Christian Brothers.
Caitlin Muller knocked down two three-pointers in the final minute to give Orange Lutheran the win over Santa Barbara. The triples were the only baskets she made in the game.
Athena Saragoza buried six three-pointers and scored 23 points to lead the Dons. Caia Trimble added 13 points and Maya Banks hauled in 20 rebounds.
In the round-robin Green Division, it was Arroyo Grande 33, Newbury Park 26; Righetti 55, Del Norte 53; San Luis Obispo 47, Hueneme 45 in OT; Mira Costa 45, Orcutt Academy 32.
