Carpinteria Birdwatchers holds its monthly birdwatching class, 6:30-8 p.m. every third Wednesday in the Carpinteria Library multi-purpose room, 5141 Carpinteria Ave. The class includes a presentation open to all ages and levels of interest; there is also a brief snack break.

The group also usually meets for a local field trip the following Saturday.
