In doubles, the teams of Ben Persoon/Connor Gralewski and Zaiden Juarez/Max Stone both swept their sets.
“Both teams had energy and were grooving their shots,” Bryant said. “I was very happy with how Ben and Connor played. Ben has gained a lot of confidence and his game has skyrocketed lately. He has a lot of extra mph to his groundstrokes and his volleys have a good ‘punch’ to them.”
Carpinteria closes out the CCL season with an 8-1 record. The Warriors are 13-4 overall. The play in the CCL tournament next week, and then face a non-league match with Cate.
