The 63rd Annual Carpinteria Community Awards Gala, honoring individuals whose contributions have enhanced the Carpinteria community, will return 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Rincon Beach Club, the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce has announced.

As part of the celebration, two educators will receive funding for classroom supplies; a Junior Carpinterian of the Year and two runners-up will be awarded scholarships; merit awards will be given to volunteers from the Carpinteria community, service clubs, and various nonprofits; and the Carpinterian of the Year will be named.

“We are excited to celebrate Carpinteria, and the people who make is so special,” said Kirsten Miller, president/CEO of the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce.

“This event is an opportunity to recognize individual efforts and a commitment to serve. Each person honored has made a lasting impact on the Carpinteria community,” she said.

The evening will include a hosted wine and beer bar, followed by dinner and the award presentation at 7 p.m. Cocktail attire is requested.

Tickets to attend the gala are $150 per person. Seating is limited, so it suggested that places be secured by March 8. Valet parking will be available. Visit www.sbscchamber.com or contact Berlin Garcia at Berlin@SBSCChamber.com or 805-967-2500 for details.
