Carpinteria remained undefeated in Citrus Coast League play Thursday with a 15-3 win over Santa Paula.

The doubles team of Ariana Lounsbury and Stephanie Ramirez, in their first pairing, dropped only one game in sweeping three doubles sets.

“Both played well and seemed to connect on the court, which is sometimes hard to do in new partnerships,” Warrior coach Charles Bryant said.

The doubles teams of Nansy Velazquez and Valerie Ojeda and Cassandra Maya Prado and Natalia Perez also swept their sets for Carpinteria, as did singles players Zahra Porinsh and Silke Leonard.

Carpinteria is now 10-4 overall and 6-0 in CCL play.
