Santa Barbara could see some preciptitation Tuesday night, with a 60% chance of light rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Carol Smith, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Oxnard, told Noozhawk that the mountain areas could see up to a third of an inch of rain, while coastal areas will likely get less than a tenth of an inch.

She said that some wet weather could be expected throughout the whole county.

There will also be increased winds from the north along the South Coast Tuesday and into Wednesday night, with gusts up to 25 mph.

Smith added that the winds are expected to diminsh overnight and cloudy conditions should start to clear out on Wednesday.
