For the second consecutive year, the Channel City Camera Club held its annual awards banquet on Zoom, and the only feast was one for the eyes with the announcement of the award-winning images shot by club members in 2021.

Throughout 2021, 616 images were submitted by club members for assessment by a panel of professional and amateur photographer-judges, and the best photos of the year were announced on Jan. 16.

First-place photo awards were given to Ron Abeles, Jeff Lipshitz, Zoltan Puskas, Bob Rottenberg, Chris Seaton and Bob Wagener. Long-time club treasurer Wagener was awarded the Merrill C. Hart Award for extraordinary service to the club.

Established in 1939, Channel City Camera Club provides its members feedback on their photographic images, as well as offering education, field trips, social events, and opportunities to participate in print shows.

Channel City Camera Club is now accepting applications for membership in 2022. For more information, visit
