Charles William “Chuck” Pressley was born on December 12, 1932, and died September 26, 2019, in Santa Barbara, California. He was 87.
Chuck was a veteran of the Navy and worked for American Machine & Foundry until he acquired a Shell service station in Goleta, California, for 21 years.
He later joined the IBEW as a groundsman and just received his 30-year pin. A hard worker all his life, Chuck always wanted to please those around him.
He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Norma J. Campbell (Pressley); his half-sister, Mary; and children Debra and Charles Jr., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Chuck was 87 and was ready for the next chapter of life. His father was Charles E. Pressley, one of the first organizers of Old Spanish Days celebrations in 1924. His mother, Nova L. Dagget (Pressley), was an owner of a beauty salon in Santa Barbara.
