Outpost at The Goodland will warm up to autumn with its fifth annual Ramenfest, noon-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at The Goodland Hotel, 5650 Calle Real, Santa Barbara.
Santa Barbara’s top restaurant teams will put forth their best ramen recipes. The friendly competition will offer a variety of ramen, from the traditional to the unique, as teams vie for the public’s Ramen King of Santa Barbara vote.
A live DJ will set the vibe, while guests can sample Japanese sake and whiskey alongside Draughtsmen Aleworks, which will be pouring a special brew.
A display of a popular comfort food, this ticketed event is hosted by Outpost at the Goodland in Goleta. Festival-goers can buy tickets at NightOut.com. General admission tickets start at $40, which includes tastings from each participating restaurant, and welcome beverage.
Partial proceeds from Ramenfest will be donated to No Kid Hungry, which works to end childhood hunger in America. Local chefs participate in the annual Chefs Cycle, a 300-mile bike ride along the coast to benefit No Kid Hungry.
