Coastal Quilters Guild of Santa Barbara and Goleta recently presented 12 adult quilts, 15 pillowcases, 22 childrens and 20 adult cloth masks to Domestic Violence Solutions (DVS).
The quilts were delivered to DVS on Aug. 21 by community projects chairs Darilyn Kitsch and Kathy Draine, who teamed up with Karen Pickford and Rochelle Schneider.
Domestic Violence Solutions provides safety and support for individuals and families affected by domestic violence. They were grateful and excited to receive the much-needed items.
The donation is an example of the many ways Coastal Quilters Guild members are able to provide comfort to the community.
