The city of Lompoc Recreation Division invites the community to help solve the mystery of which recreation division employee finally snapped during this pandemic and committed a crime.
From Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 29, amateur detectives are invited to find clues hidden at Centennial Square, Ryon Park Trail, Ryon Softball Field, Lompoc Aquatic Center, Beattie Park Fallen Warriors Memorial, and Beattie Walking Trail to help solve the mystery in a special game of Clue.
Participants are asked that while playing Clue: Lompoc Recreation Division, they maintain appropriate social distancing, and not touch or remove the clues.
Participants should search high and low for paper clues along the trails, traveling by walking, running or biking. Each clue will mention a suspect, weapon or location that was not used in the crime.
Items can be crossed off the list of weapons, suspects and locations available on the city web page at www.cityoflompoc.com/recreation.
Once participants think they have solved the mystery of who committed the crime, where it happed, and using which weapon, they should visit the Lompoc Recreation Division Facebook page and comment “solved” on a Clue game post, and email the answer to recreation@ci.lompoc.ca.us.
Answers should not be posted on the recreation Facebook page.
One lucky participant or team of participants with the correct answer will be drawn at random to win a $50 Lompoc Recreation Division credit.
