Residents of a Lompoc neighborhood were ordered to shelter in place on Wednesday while Lompoc police officers were dealing with a domestic-violence incident.
Officers issued the warning at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon after the Special Weapons and Tactics Team responded to the 200 block of North C Street.
In issuing the shelter-in-place order, police said the suspect was believed to be armed and dangerous.
