Dos Pueblos returned to the courts on Thursday after multiple rainouts and took care of Lompoc 18-0 in a Channel League boys tennis match at DP.

Will Steinberg won two sets at No. 1 singles 7-5, 6-4 and Alex Oaten swept three sets at No. 2 while only dropping three games (6-3, 6-0, 6-0). The Chargers are 3-0 overall and in league.

“After having some time off due to all the rain, it was fun to see the team back in action,” said Chargers coach Laura Housinger. “Doubles flew through their matches and our singles players had some battles which helped them increase their mental toughness. We have a busy week ahead with Santa Barbara, San Marcos, and Santa Ynez on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so today was great preparation and good confidence building.”
