Baylor Huyck scored 21 points for Dos Pueblos, but the Chargers couldn’t overcome turnovers and dropped a 62-45 boys basketball game against Burroughs Ridgecrest on the final day of the Ventura Kiwanis Tournament on Monday.

“Baylor was able to keep us close for a while, but some of our turnovers led to easy scores for them,” said DP coach Joe Zamora. “They led us on the boards as well.”

AJ Celestine of Burroughs knocked down seven three-pointers and scored 23 points.

Dos Pueblos (4-9) was outscored 30-20 in the second half.

Huyck was named to the all-tournament team.

The Chargers are back in action Friday at San Luis Obispo.
