Dos Pueblos dropped a 1-0 decision against Santa Ynez in a Channel League girls soccer match on Thursday.

It was the first league loss for the Chargers, who are 1-1-2.

DP coach Seth Asuncion said Santa Ynez defenders made things tough for captain Precious Nwosu.

He praised goalkeeper Jazmine Trujillo and defenders Sasha Runyen and Sofia Malvinni for turning back the Santa Ynez attack.
