Bella Godlis broke a 3-3 tie in the fourth quarter and Charlize Winter sealed the win for Dos Pueblos in a 5-3 decision over Santa Barbara High in a Channel League girls water polo game at the Elings Aquatic Center on Tuesday.

The Brown University-bound Godlis scored two goals for the the Chargers, who trailed 3-1.

Sabina Shackelford made it 3-2 in the third period and Kelly Meckelborg tied the score.

Santa Barbara got goals from Oli Obando, Elise Power and Juju Martinez do Amaral.

The game matched two of the premier goalies in the Southern Section, Faith Tedesco of Santa Barbara and Anna Cable of DP.

In an unusual circumstance, both teams celebrated their Senior Day at the DP pool. Santa Barbara’s pool has been out of commission due to a broke heater and has been practicing and playing its home games at the Elings Aquatic Center.
