A vehicle crashed into a garage in Orcutt on Tuesday afternoon, causing minor injuries to the driver and minor damage to the residence. 

Santa Barbara County firefighters were dispatched at 1:42 p.m. to an incident on the 3800 block of Berwyn Drive, county fire spokesman Mike Eliason said. 

The crash occurred after the 102-year-old woman accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal, he said. 

As a precaution, the driver was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center, Eliason added.

The woman’s name was not released.
