Wreckage of vehicle involved in rollover crash in Lompoc

One person was critically injured Tuesday in a rollover crash in Lompoc, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The single-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. at Floradale and West Ocean avenues, the CHP said.

The driver and sole occupant was ejected from the SUV, which came to rest in a farm field, the CHP said.

The patient suffered major injuries and was transported by Calstar medical helicopter to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

The driver’s name and details on his condition were not available.

The crash was under investigation by the CHP.
