One person was injured after crashing their vehicle into a garage in Casmalia on Sunday night, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. 

County firefighters responded to the 2900 block of Associated Road at approximately 10:20 p.m., Capt. Scott Safechuck said. 

A vehicle crashed into a detached garage located on private property off of an isolated road, Safechuck said. 

The driver had moderate injuries from the crash, he said. The person was taken by ground ambulance to a CalStar medical helicopter, which flew them to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
