The Dunn boys soccer team has advanced to the CIF-SS Division 6 championship game on Friday.

The undefeated and fourth-seeded Earwigs (19-0-0) will face No. 2 Ganesha for the title at Ganesha in Pomona at 5 p.m. The Division 3-7 finals are being played at home sites.

Dunn defeated No. 1 Brentwood 2-0 last Saturday on the road in the semifinals. Stephen Janes and Brima Kamara scored for the Earwigs.

Ganesha advanced to the final by beating Pasadena Poly 3-0.

In the quarterfinals, Dunn blanked Cerritos Valley Christian 5-0.

The Earwigs are being led by Dylan Murphy, who took over for head coach. Ivan Bercerra, who is on paternity leave following the recent birth of his second son.

Both Murphy and Becerra are former UCSB soccer players.

Dunn last won a CIF soccer title in 2015.
