A fire damaged a single-family residence in Orcutt on Thursday night.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department personnel responded to 805 Manda Court, off Hillview Road, just before 6 p.m., fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli said.
Crews arrived to find a working fire at the residence, with smoke showing, and immediately began attacking the blaze, Bertucelli said.
Efforts included establishing vertical ventilation while firefighters also fought the fire on the interior of the home, he added.
No one was injured by the fire, Bertucelli said. An ambulance crew stood by at the scene as a precaution.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, Bertucelli said.
