Former Cate School soccer standout Buba Fofanah scored a goal and had two assists in his collegiate debut for Portland in a 9-0 rout of Division 3 George Fox University on Wednesday night.
Fofanah’s first college goal came in the 73rd minute. He collected a pass with a brilliant first touch near the penalty spot and tucked his shot under the goalkeeper.
Fofanah was an All-CIF Division 6 selection, the Offensive MVP of the Tri-Valley League and a high school All-American during his senior year at Cate.
