The Westmont Music, Theater, and Art departments have collaborated to cook up a delicious concoction they call the first Valentine’s Arts Soiree, A Fairy Tale, 5 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14, in Westmont College’s Porter Theater.

The garden of delights is replete with catered food, a silent auction, and a romantic concert by the Westmont Orchestra.

Professor Michael Shasberger says: “The romantic evening will include lively theatrical and musical presentations, including the orchestra’s performance of the magical tales of Josef Suk’s symphonic poem “A Fairy Tale” and Alexander Borodin’s stunning “Polovetsian Dances.”

Throughout the evening, guests will witness romantic vignettes in the theater, take a private tour through Modern Masters at the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum Art Museum, and enjoy a lovely dinner. Throughout the event, guests may also participate in a silent auction.

Proceeds from the evening will go to support the Art, Theatre and Music programs at Westmont.

A limited number of tickets, which cost $100 per person, may be purchased at www.westmont.edu/valentines.

For group tickets or sponsorship opportunities, call 805-565-6040.
