Hershel Edward Ooley

Hershel Edward Ooley, 62, of Stinnett, Tex., passed away on April 15, 2020, in Stinnett, from unrelated COVID19 medical complications. Mr. Ooley was born on Nov. 25, 1957 in Shattuck, Okla., to James Franklin Ooley and Donna Mae Oliver Ooley.

Mr. Ooley was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy, while in his early 20s. He was a master machinist and locally worked for EPM Lease Services based in Amarillo, Tex.

He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time hunting and fishing; he loved his animals.

He is survived by his son Joshua Ooley of Kansas; his daughter Lori Ooley of Santa Barbara; two sisters Kayren Harbour of Stinnett, Tex., and Cheryl Pernice of Springfield, Mo.; a brother Robert Ooley of Santa Barbara; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ooley is survived by his father James Ooley and preceded in death by his mother Donna Ooley.

A private family graveside service, officiated by Rev. Mark Murray will be held on Monday, April 20, at Lieb Cemetery in Hutchinson County, Tex. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman, Tex.
