Jacob Stock fired a complete-game, two-hit shutout as the Dos Pueblos Little League 9-under All Stars beat Ventura-Foothill 11-0 on Sunday to force a winner-take-all District 63 tournament championship game on Monday at Girsh Park.
Stock struck out nine and walked one to keep DPLL alive in the double-elimination tournament. He also contributed at the plate, slugging a two-run ground-rule double in a four-run first inning.
Dos Pueblos added singled runs in the third and fourth before erupting for five runs in the fifth.
Luka Wilson continued swinging a hot bat as he led DPLL with three hits and three RBI. Isaiah Estrella had two hits and scored two runs. James Chou had a hit, walked three times and scored three times.
Other members of the 9U All-Star team include Philip Lowe, Finn Wansor, Spencer Shaw, Juan Meza, Matias Csordas, Zane Pflanzer, Vansh Rajvaidya and Andrew Wang.
